Language Acquisition 101: Best Practices in the Language and E.L.L. Classroom

How do we acquire languages?  What works, what doesn't, and why?  The answers are interesting, surprising, and immensely useful for languages and E.L.L. teachers.

In this workshop, you will learn the simple basics of second language acquisition.  You will also learn what S.L.A. myths are, and you will get a bunch of effective, concrete and research-based strategies to use in your class on Monday morning.
