Coding and Core Competencies? You Betcha! (K-3)

Coding is the language of today. It teaches perseverance, problem-solving, critical thinking, communication, and collaboration. What’s better yet, is that you don’t need to be a computer scientist to figure it out.  Come find out how students are learning to code while exploring BC’s core competencies.  In this hands-on session, we will explore coding with and without technology and we will look at ways your classroom content can be taught through code.  An extensive resource will be shared which will help you best meet your learners need and of course we’ll have fun playing with programmable toys too! This session is geared towards K-3 educators.
