Kindergarten Numeracy Stations: How to Connect the Big Ideas in Numeracy to Play-based Learning

This workshop is intended for Kindergarten teachers, who are interested in implementing Numeracy stations in their classroom. These stations will be centered around the new curriculum, with a focus on a big idea, that allows for student inquiry and exploration. Participants will learn how to teach students how to independently participate in stations, and how to organize them efficiently.  This will be a hands-on workshop, where participants will walk away with some ready-made stations to use in their classrooms, and ideas for more activities as well.  Hand-outs will be provided.
