Inspiring Change Makers with Project Enterprise

Help your students implement a real social enterprise and discover their ability to be change makers with Project Enterprise. This exciting experiential learning program for grades 9-12 challenges students to redefine success in business from an exclusive focus on profits to one that prioritizes People, Planet and Profits (Three Ps). Whether coming up with a product that is environmentally friendly or addresses a social issue, they are encouraged to innovate and think outside the box.

This program teaches students to:

  • Create business models that have positive impact.
  • Conceptualize product ideas, develop prototypes and complete a market test.
  • Actively utilize core competencies (creativity, critical thinking, communications and personal responsibility) as they strive to achieve their goals.
  • Collaborate and work effectively as a team.
  • Develop professional pitches to showcase learning and promote their business models.

Learn how other Surrey secondary teachers are using this exciting new resource to help their students develop an entrepreneurial mindset and a sense of civic engagement. Participants will also gain access to the resources free of charge through a partnership with the Surrey Board of Trade.
