Visual Arts - Sharing, Networking and Collaboration

This is an interactive and collaborative workshop for teachers and TTOCs who are interested in, or currently teaching, visual arts. During this workshop, you will have the opportunity to share an idea (such as a lesson or unit plan) with others, while learning about other colleagues’ ideas. (Please note, this workshop will be focused on secondary visual arts curriculum, but it is the presenter’s intent that elementary teachers are also welcome to share their ideas and take away new ideas which could be modified to suit their needs).

Please come prepared with an idea that you have found to be successful in your own classroom and think others might use in their own teaching practice. If possible, please bring a digital copy that can be distributed via email after the workshop concludes.

Target Audience

K-12 (Focus on 8-12)

What to bring

Participants are required to bring either a physical or digital copy of their idea (lesson or unit plan). Laptops, portable USB drives and/or IPads are recommended.
