Prohibition City Walking Tour

Experience Forbidden Vancouver's walking tour Prohibition City for yourself and see first hand how it could support your social studies students' learning objectives. It's packed with late 19th and early 20th century Vancouver and Canadian history - covering topics including the temperance and prohibition movements, women's suffrage, media perspectives, race relations, and the Klondike Gold rush - the story weaves these events and movements into a compelling 2 hour long narrative. You'll go to the actual places where Vancouver's history took place.

This workshop will take place offsite at:
  • 10 am Start point - Cathedral Sq., at the corner of Dunsmuir & Richards streets (2 mins walk from Granville Skytrain)
  • End time - 12 p.m.
