Understanding Neuroscience for a "Brain Fit" Classroom

This 3 hour presentation will help teachers gain a better understanding of how our brain body connection can influence the behaviors we see in our classrooms.  Teachers will also learn how to be more aware of their own nervous systems and how to implement new strategies that they can use for regulating both themselves and their students.

    Natalie is a school counsellor for the Surrey School District and a Registered Clinical Counsellor. She is a certified Neuro Science in the Sand Tray (NSST) therapist and trained in EMDR. She is the author of "The Brain Fit Tool Kit" and "Brain Fit Super Powers Workbook/Journal", and creator of the "Brain Fit Super Powers" SEL program.
