K-12 Navigating quarantine life – finding structure & balance while working from home

In this workshop we will discuss the difference between Needs, Shoulds & Must-dos so that we can reduce the crazy expectations of the past and learn to choose with purpose.  It is easy to get caught up in the chaos of daily life without ever stopping to ask yourself  - why am  I even doing this? Now that we find ourselves at home in a house full of too many activities likely overlapping with too many people AND now an added stress of learning how to navigate online education – that question has never been so important. Join me as we take a closer look at what really counts so you can find a set up that works best for you.

After 15 years of truly loving my job as a secondary Spanish & History teacher, I decided to go back to school and reroute my career. In my search for better work-life balance for my family, I became a UBC Certified Organizational Coach. My new roll is much like my teaching roll in that I still get to develop people’s strengths and empower them to make positive change.  Now I TOC twice a week (I used to) while I raise my 3 year old and build my private practice as The Next Chapter Coach, feeling incredibly grateful for the balance I have struck in my life.
