The Basics of Blender

This workshop will help you get started using Blender, 3D modeling and animation program. Why use Blender as a 3D program? It's free, it's powerful, and it's well supported by a large community providing free resources. The program can be intimidating when first opened but with guidance and practice, you will be creating 3D models in no time. We will be covering the basics of movement, transformation, and extrusion and creating several models during the process. You can download Blender for your laptop at blender.org/download. Please bring a 3 button mouse to the workshop.
