Physics teachers are lucky to have a wide range of professional development opportunities that exist both locally and abroad. At this workshop we'll explore some of the fantastic workshops and how to attend. We'll also look at some of the resources that come from these workshops and how they can fit into the high school physics curricula.

Joe Muise has been teaching for 16 years at St. Thomas More Collegiate in Burnaby. He has been fortunate enough to attend Physics workshops at LIGO, CERN and Institute of Quantum Computing. In addition, he is a big fan of experiential learning opportunities and has taken students through the Students on the Beamlines Program and the European Space Agency's CanSat competition.
