K-12 Rick Hansen Foundation School Program - Creating Inclusive Classrooms Together

In Jacqueline’s session you will receive the Rick Hansen Foundation School Program’s FREE educational resources for youth in kindergarten to grade twelve, developed by educators for educators. In both English and French, ready-made lesson plans that incorporate Universal Design principles and are connected to provincial curriculums and educational priorities across Canada. We believe that by encouraging youth to take action on issues that matter to them, they can become leaders in creating an accessible, inclusive world.

    Jacqueline Beaudry has been active in the BC school system, both public and independent since 2002, as a parent, PAC chair, Spring Fair Co-coordinator, and an Educational Assistant among many others.  She has recently joined the Rick Hansen Foundation School Program to increase awareness regarding disabilities, accessibility and inclusion.  She currently lives in Tsawwassen BC with her husband, 2 children and 1 crazy dog.
