Creative Drama in the Clasroom is a hands-on workshop with as much participation as you want to include! Drama activities (whether for warm-ups, focus, fun time, cooperation and group work, storytelling, or introduction/support for curriculum) will be adaptable to all grade levels. How to use drama as a safe and supportive tool with no judgement is the emphasis of the workshop. Building self-confidence is always the goal of drama; and in these workshops it is as much for the teacher's self -confidence as the classroom's.
Using drama to support lessons in science, socials, reading, math, and cultural sensitivity be will workshopped. As well, using Drama for its own purpose of storytelling, play building, and characterization will be part of the Workshop.
