As teachers, we spend a lot of time looking at student work. In this session, we want to provide a safe space for teachers to do this together. We will use “student work” as a focal point for our learning conversation. By inviting our colleagues to share what they see in student work, we gain valuable insights around evidence of student learning and ways to enhance our teaching practice.
Teachers are asked to bring 3 samples of student work ( assignment, journal, video, test/quizzes, etc.) that represent a range of understanding and knowledge. For confidentiality and to remove bias, please remove names on samples of student work. You may label the work as Student A, Student B and Student C.
Sharon is a Mentorship Helping Teacher. She is passionate about building personal and organizational capacities. Through her work, Sharon has the privilege to work with an outstanding group of mentors and mentees in Surrey Schools.
