Mentoring Nature Connections

Are you wondering how you can utilize the outdoor learning spaces on your schoolgrounds? Let's investigate the different spaces and how they can be used in a variety of ways. For example, which spaces best support mathematical thinking or journal writing? We will also discuss how we can establish nature routines to support and extend your current indoor classroom routines. These routines include the use of the sit spot, circle, nature games, journal writing, using field guides, and mapping.  We will share many examples of activities with curricular connections and an assessment lens.  You will leave with many ideas that you can implement the very next day!
