This workshop is an opportunity for teachers (both classroom teachers and special education teachers) who work with students with Complex Multiple Needs to meet in order to exchange knowledge and resources. In building a knowledge and support network, it is hoped that together we can provide a richer inclusive learning experience for our students.
Students with Category A designation (include those who have cerebral palsy, cortical vision impairment, epilepsy, and other comorbid conditions, and may be non-verbal) comprise less than 0.1% of the population; working alone to support them can be a struggle.
Let's change that.

I have been a B.A.S.E.S. teacher for the past 4 years, and have worked with students with varying abilities. I am thoroughly enjoying the learning and teamwork that comes with supporting students with complex multiple needs, especially the task of meaningfully including them with their age peers in creative way.
