Play on Words - Primary Literacy Games and Activities

PARTICIPANTS NEED TO DOWNLOAD PDF, CUT APART LETTER TILES TO PLAY ALONG DURING THIS WORKSHOP

Come prepared to play hands-on games that are perfect for your differentiated learning centers and whole class instruction.  Games integrate the use of manipulatives including literacy dice, letter tiles and word decks. Handout will include templates of these to use during the session and afterwards in your class.  You will receive ideas for adpating the activities dollar store items. Concepts covered:  learning the alphabet and its' sounds, rhyme, word families, spelling CVC words, vocabulary building and more.  Handout includea gameboards. COME PREPARED TO PLAY.

Participants will need to download the handout, cut apart the letter cards in order to play along during the workshop.  Last year some participants had a hard time locating and accessing the handouts that we downloaded, not sure how you can make this clearer for the teachers, but appreciate any help you can provide them.   I really like the teachers to play along and I will get them the templates to use in their handouts, thanks.
