Survive the Flood EDC

Surviving the Flood  is an exciting workshop that invites teachers to take on the challenge of creating a sustainable solution to the issue of floods in British Columbia. In this hands-on STEAM activity, students will learn about current flood protection techniques and sustainable civil engineering while working in groups to design and implement their own large-scale flood protection system. Teachers will come away from this workshop with a ready-to-go STEAM challenge to use in their class and other ideas for how to incorporate the ADST curriculum into current real-world issues.
