K-12 Starting a Dungeons and Dragons Club PART 1

NOTE: This is the first part of a two-session workshop. Please register for PART 2 in the afternoon as well.

There has been a recent cultural resurgence of the oft-misunderstood tabletop role-playing game, Dungeons and Dragons. Recently approved as a Surrey Schools learning resource, D&D Fifth Edition is a fantastic tool for drawing students into community, creative problem solving, engaging in group storytelling, and critical thinking.

In this session you will enjoy both learning and participating in the creative world of make believe where we explore what it means to be anyone, go anywhere, and embark on a heroic adventure! The only limits are your imagination and the rolls of the dice.

The presenter is looking for 4 individuals to participate in a short demo of D&D in the latter half of the workshop. No experience necessary but the 4 volunteers will be required to be on camera. If interested, please contact the presenter Dave at davealiciamccormick@gmail.com
