I am a retired teacher. I spent all of my career in the West Kootenays. Retired to South Surrey in 2011.

I spent 33 years as Chemistry/Science and computer helping teacher. 15 years as UBC Faculty of Education sessional with WKTEP. 3 years on the last elected College of Teachers. Always a union acitivist with many years on my local assoication executive.

Currently, I am a Director on the board of the BC Retired Teachers' Association. Membership Director/Webmaster/Newsletter Editor for the Surrey Retired Teacher's Association.

During the last 25 years of my career and into retirement, I have done many tech workshops for colleagues and support staff on MS Office and other computer topics.

I have always been a bit of a computer nerd and happily wear the label. When I am not travelling, I am behind my camera, listening to music and reading.

Retirement is good. Protect your pension. With any luck, you will be retired for more years than you will work.

This workshop is aimed at normal folks who struggle with technology.
