Britannia Mine Museum Excursion

Come experience what your students can do at our site, from hands-on-learning experiences to ones engaging critical thinking skills. Britannia Mine Museum is a STEAM Education Partner, providing unique, entertaining and memorable curriculum-based educational experiences that consider the relevance and impact of resource Management and geologic exploration.

Our programs are designed by education specialists and reflect British Columbia’s transformed curriculum. Each program provides content enrichment for a "Big Idea" and opportunities to exercise and extend students’ core competencies.

Travel to this venue is by bus, leaving from Johnston Heights Secondary at 9am. The bus leaves Britannia at 1:30pm.

As busses are provided for this workshop mileage cannot be claimed. Email convention@surreyteachers.org with the heading BRITANNIA MINES if you will be attending but are not going to be travelling by bus, to notify the person in charge not to wait for you.

Please note, a lunch per diem is not available for this workshop. Please bring your own lunch as there are very limited food options available.
