Intermediate Creative Drama and Theatre in the Classroom

This Intermediate Workshop will take Primary grade drama acitivities to the next level (figuratively and literally).  Giving more in-depth demonstrations of activities which relate to your curriculum (socials, science, math, storytelling/writing) this workshop will prepare you for immediate as well as extended lesson-building use of creative drama.  As well, the drama activities will lead into actual theatre, if deisred.

Group work is emphasized for creative collaboration.  Creative Drama relaxes the student, allowing for group trial, and replaces rote memorization for comprehending material.

No materials will be sent out ahead of the session; however, a detailed outline will be posted at the workshop.   The workshop is both lecture and demonstration, with fun!
