As a classroom teacher or support staff, you may find yourself overwhelmed and stressed
within our current education climate. This workshop will attempt to address the mental health
concern, our stress, observing, and checking in, to know oneself. Once we acquire a handle on
one’s stress, possibility will seemingly come about, allowing for opportunity to thrive as a
“buoyant educator”. During our lively time together, we will explore the possibilities and facts,
ways of guarding against conditions of Burnout. We will investigate Practices of Self Care, ways
to restore energies, thought absent or depleted. Participants will move away from the
workshop experience, hopefully with revisioning, a healthier approach of their craft within
one’s teaching practice.
